The first ARTPHILEIN PHOTOBOOK PROJECT CONTEST, launched by De Pietri Artphilein Foundation www.artphilein.org has been concluded.

The theme of the contest was CRASH in all its meanings both negative (clash, breaking …) and positive (rebirth, change …) and and it was a collateral event of the Bi11 – CRASH (eleventh edition of the Biennale dell’immagine, Chiasso, Switzerland – www.biennaleimmagine.ch).

The contest was open to artists and photographers with no restrictions based on age or nationality.

The award grants the winner:
(i) a 7-day residency at the Artphilein Library, Lugano (accommodation included)
(ii) assistance by the Organizer through every stage of producing, editing and designing the photobook
(iii) a financial contribution of CHF 5’000 (five thousand Swiss Francs) for the production of the photobook in at least 150 copies to be published by Artphilein Editions
